We would be in favor of either the Farmer's Building or the Bauer Building, with a possible advantage being given to the latter. The opportunity to bring theatre patrons to the village to enjoy the restaurants and businesses would certainly be an advantage. Wherever we are established, please be assured that we will continue to bring award-winning recognition to the greatest city in San Diego County. First of all it has been our pleasure for the Jazzercise Studio Space to be the temporary home for New Village Arts during the last four years of their award-winning productions. As they have grown season after season and put outstanding theatre on the map in North San Diego County, they have proven to be exemplar tenants. It has long been a dream of ours to bring professional theatre to North County, and with NVA in Carlsbad we feel this is the best opportunity our community will ever have to achieve that goal. The excellence of their productions has brought theatre-goers from all over San Diego County, as well as from Orange. Riverside and even Los Angeles counties. We feel it would be best if New Village Arts ends up In the Village of downtown Carlsbad - it's where they belong and where NVA and their patrons can become part of the community of shops, restaurants and hotels that attract people to downtown. Thank you for your time and consideration. Jazzercise, Inc. will continue to be a supporter of New Village Arts whatever the future brings. Sincerely, Judi Sheppard Missett, President & CEO, Jazzercise, Inc. Jack Missett. President.
