Adopt Resolution No. 2007-177 . appointing one member to the Traffic Safety
Commission.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Bonnie Bradshaw, whose term expires in July, 2008, has submitted her resignation from the
Traffic Safety Commission, effective August 1, 2007. Ms. Bradshaw was appointed to the
Commission in July 2004. One appointment is needed to fill this position.
Other members of the Traffic Safety Commission are: Gordon Cress, Steve Dorsey, Susan
Gardner and Guy Roney.
NOTE: Members of the Traffic Safety Commission are subject to the provisions of the
Political Reform Act, and must file a Statement of Economic Interests, Form 700.

CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER
3 TO THE TRAFFIC SAFETY COMMISSION

5 WHEREAS, Bonnie Bradshaw has resigned from the Traffic Safety
6 Commission leaving a term that expires in July 2008; and
7 WHEREAS, one appointment is needed to fill this position.
8 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
9 Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

Although it has been a pleasure serving the City Council, city staff, and the
citizens of Carlsbad, it is my request to vacate this appointment. This request
