appointing four members to the Housing Commission.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Margaret Schraml resigned from the Housing Commission leaving a term that expires in
July 2007.
Ms. Schraml represented "One Senior Tenant who is assisted by the Housing Authority"
category. Ms. Schraml was originally appointed in June 2003 to fill an unexpired term and
was reappointed in September 2003.
Sondra Boddy has also resigned from the Housing Commission leaving a term that expires
in July 2009.
Ms. Boddy was appointed to represent the "Members at Large" category. Ms. Boddy was
originally appointed in August 2005.
The term of Edward Scarpelli expires in July 2007. Mr. Scarpelli, also representing the
"Members at Large" category, was appointed in April 1999 and reappointed in September
2003. Mr. Scarpelli has served for eight years.
The term of Bobbi Smith also expires in July 2007. Ms. Smith was appointed to represent
the "General Rental Assistance" category in September 2002 to fill an unexpired term. She
was reappointed in September 2003, and has served five years.
Four appointments are needed: One to represent the "Senior Tenant assisted by the
Housing Authority" category; one to represent the "General Rental Assistance" category;
and two appointments to represent the "Members at Large" category.
The other member of the Housing Commission is: Doris Ritchie.
NOTE: Members of the Housing Commission are subject to the provisions of the
Political Reform Act, and must file Statements of Economic Interests.
