RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution Nos. 2007-242 . 2007-243 appointing two members to
the Senior Commission.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The terms of Mike O'Connell and Anna Hopkins expire in September, 2007.
Mr. O'Connell was appointed to the Senior Commission in November 2003, and has served
three years and ten months.
Ms. Hopkins was appointed in February 2006 to fill an unexpired term, and has served one
year and seven months.
Two appointments to the Senior Commission are needed.
The other members of the Senior Commission are: Jack Nelson, Peggy Savary and Joan
Surridge.
NOTE: Members of the Senior Commission are subject to the provisions of the
Political Reform Act, and must file Statements of Economic Interests.
