RECOMMENDED ACTION:
That the City Council, by motion, authorize a closed session to consider the appointment of a
public employee:
I move that the City Council hold a closed session to consider
and discuss the appointment of an interim City Manager for the
City of Carlsbad, as a result of the announced retirement of the
incumbent City Manager, pursuant to Government Code Section
54957.
