V(j^-^ RECOMMENDED ACTION: Receive update on the City of Carlsbad's emergency response to the recent county-wide firestorms. ITEM EXPLANATION: The recent county-wide firestorms required the City of Carlsbad to declare a local State of Emergency. Staff will provide an overview of the city's response to that emergency and will highlight the overwhelming community support for the victims of the fire.
