HEAD CITY ATTY. CITY MGR. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Ordinance No. NS-877 amending Title 10, Chapter 10.28 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code by the addition of Section 10.28.940 to require a stop on Tern Place at its intersection with Spoonbill Lane. ITEM EXPLANATION: Ordinance No. NS-877 was introduced and first read at the City Council meeting held on March 18, 2008. The second reading allows the City Council to adopt the ordinance, which would then become effective in thirty days. The City Clerk will have the ordinance published within fifteen days, if adopted. NS-877 2 3 4 The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as follows:6 SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.28 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended by the addition of Section 10.28.940 to read as follows: 8 "10.28.940 Spoonbill Lane. Drivers shall stop where the following 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.28 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE TO REQUIRE STOPS ON TERN PLACE AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH SPOONBILL LANE. described street intersects Spoonbill Lane: Tern Place." NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, ordains as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2.
