RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Ordinance No. CS-048 amending Title 10, Chapter 10.40 of the Carlsbad Municipal
Code, by the addition of Section 10.40.170 to declare no parking on Paseo Descanso from
Carrillo way to Paseo Cerro from 2:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., seven days a week.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Ordinance No. CS-048 was introduced and first read at the City Council meeting held on
August 11, 2009. The second reading allows the City Council to adopt the ordinance which
will become effective in thirty days. The City Clerk will have the ordinance published within
fifteen days, if adopted.

0 "10.4.170 Parking Time Limit on Paseo Descanso from Carrillo Way to Paseo Cerro
When authorized signs are in place giving notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand or
park any vehicle on Paseo Descanso from Carrillo Way to Paseo Cerro, seven days a
week, between the hours of 2:00 A.M. and 5:00 A.M."
1 _ EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its adoption; and
the City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published at least once in13

The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.40 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended
by the addition of Section 10.40.170 to read as follows:
