Appointments
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution Nos. 2011'220 and 2011-221 appointing two members to the
Senior Commission.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Commissioner Ray Pearson was appointed to the Senior Commission in April 2011 to fill a
vacancy for a term that expires in September 2011.
Commissioner David Tweedy was also appointed to the Senior Commission in April 2011 to fill
a vacancy for a term that expires in September 2011.
Two appointments to the Senior Commission are needed.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT:
Pursuant to Public Resources Code Section 21065 and CEQA Guidelines Section 15738, this
action does not constitute a "project" within the meaning of CEQA and therefore, does not
require additional environmental review.
NOTE: Members of the Senior Commission are subject to the provisions of the Political
Reform Act, and must file a Statement of Economic Interests.
Applications for the Senior Commission are on file in the Office of the City Clerk.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO
THE SENIOR COMMISSION.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
