RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution Nos. 2013-098 and 2013-099 appointing two members
to tiie Planning Commission.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The term of Commission Member Stephen "Hap" L'Heureux expires in April 2013. He was appointed in
May, 2009, replacing Commission Member Michael Cardosa, and has served three years and eleven
months. Mr. L'Heureux is eligible for reappointment.
The term of Commission Member Marty Montgomery expires in April 2013. He was appointed in
December 2012, to complete the term of Julie Nygaard. Mr. Montgomery is also eligible for
reappointment.
Other members ofthe Planning Commission are: Arthur Neit Black, Victoria Scully, Jeff Segall, Michael
Schumacher and Kerry Siekmann.
Two appointments to the Planning Commission are therefore required.
NOTE: Members ofthe Planning Commission are subject to the provisions ofthe Political Reform
Act, and must file a Statement of Economic Interests.
Applications are on file in ttie Office ofthe City Clerk.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT:
Pursuant to Public Resources Code section 21065, this action does not constitute a "project'' within
the meaning of CEQA in that it has no potential to cause either a direct physical change in the
environment, or a reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment, and
therefore does not require environmental review.
