RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 2013-195 appointing one member to the Housing Commission.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The term of committee member Susan Igoe expires in July, 2013. Ms. Igoe has served approximately
three years and ten months and is eligible for reappointment. She has expressed a desire to be
reappointed to the Housing Commission.
Other members ofthe Housing Commission are Brian Andrews, Emelda Bradwell, Craig Kirk and Bobbie
Smith.
Applications received for the Housing Commission are on file in the Office ofthe City Clerk.
NOTE: Members ofthe Housing Commission are subject to the provisions ofthe Political Reform Act,
and must file a Statement of Economic Interests.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT:
Pursuant to Public Resources Code section 21065, this action does not constitute a "project" within
the meaning of CEQA in that it has no potential to cause either a direct physical change in the
environment, or a reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment, and
therefore does not require environmental review.

I would like announce that I am very interested in a second term as housing commissioner for the City of Carlsbad.
I am an experienced commissioner with two years previous experience as a housing commissioner for the City of
Oceanside.
I enjoy sorting through information and giving a balanced opinion.
1 love living in Carlsbad. I am interested in all growth and events in our city, including all issues related to housing in
general.
It would be my pleasure to serve another term.
