RECOMMENDED ACTION:
That the City Council, by motion, authorize a closed session to discuss employer-
employee relations, salaries, salary schedules and compensation in the form of fringe
benefits of its employees represented by CFA and CPMA with designated staff as labor
negotiators (Julie Clark, Human Resources Director, Debbie Porter, Senior Management
Analyst, Cheryl Gerhardt, Human Resources Professional and Steve Berliner, Liebert
Cassidy & Whitmore) If circumstances necessitate the absence of a specified designated
representative, an agent or designee may participate in place of the absent representative
so long as the name of the agent or designee is announced at an open session held prior
to the closed session.
I move that the City Council hold a closed session to discuss
employer-employee relations and negotiations pursuant to
Government Code Section 54957.6.
