Tunnel boring at Macario is about 50% complete.
Excavation of the tunnel pit on Faraday is complete and tunneling
towards Cannon will begin this week.

Pipeline Construction –Faraday / CRC
Pipe has tied in at Van Allen and street restorations will be complete
by the end of January.
Flagging one lane of traffic from 8:30-3:30 continues through end of
January.
Flaggers are stationed at each driveway to assist with exit and entry
in both directions.

Pipeline Construction –Faraday / Orion / El Fuerte
El Camino Real to Melrose will be paved and fully restored by the
end of January.
January 17-January 30 El Fuerte will be closed to thru traffic for
pipeline installation. All businesses in this area have been notified
of this closure.

Pipeline Construction –Lower Faraday
Late January Crews have an additional 39 pieces of pipe that need
to be installed on lower Faraday to connect to Macario Tunnel at the
Faraday tunnel shaft.
This section will take 4 weeks.
Upon competition mid-February all medians on Faraday will be
landscaped and fully restored.
