RECOMMENDED ACTION;
Adopt Resolution No. 2015-022 accepting a donation of $41,126.63 from the Patricia M. White Trust,
plus any residual distribution from the final trust accounting, to the William D. Cannon Art Gallery, and send an
appropriate letter of thanks.
ITEM EXPLANATION;
Ms. Patricia M. White, a long-time resident of Carlsbad and patron ofthe William D. Cannon Art Gallery, passed
away on October 5, 2014. Ms. White declared in her trust that a distribution of five percent (5%) of the trust
assets ($41,126.63, plus any residual distribution from final accounting ofthe trust) shall be distributed to the
William D. Cannon Art Gallery upon her passing.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This donation will be deposited into the William D. Cannon Art Gallery special revenue fund.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT:
Pursuant to Public Resources Code section 21065, this action does not constitute a "project" within the meaning of
CEQA in that it has no potential to cause either a direct physical change in the environment, or a reasonably
foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment, and therefore does not require environmental review.
