2015-237 _, appointing Shaunee Williams to the Housing
ITEM EXPLANATION;
The term^ of Commission IVlember Craig Kirk expired in July, 2015. Mr. Kirk was appointed in
August, 2007, and was subsequently reappointed in July, 2011 to serve a four year term ending in
July 2015.
One appointment to the Housing Commission is therefore required.
Other members ofthe Housing Commission are Alan Newman, Emelda Bradwell, Susan Igoe and
Bobbie Smith.
Appiications received for the Housing Commission are on fiie in the Office of the City Clerk.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPAa:
Pursuant to Public Resources Code section 21065, this action does not constitute a "project"
within the meaning of CEQA in that it has no potential to cause wither a direct physical change in
the environment, or a reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment, and
therefore does not require environmental review.

WHEREAS, the term of Commission Member Craig Kirk expired in July, 2015, and

8 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California,
