That the City Council, by motion, authorize a closed session to consider and discuss the
appointment of a City Manager, pursuant to Government Code Section 54957(b)(1 ), and to
discuss and consider the contract negotiations for the position of City Manager, pursuant to
Government Code section 54957.6.
