City Council Resolution No. --··. 2016-025 appointing new members to the City of Carlsbad's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funding Advisory Committee. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 2016-025 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING NEW MEMBERS TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDING ADVISORY COMMITTEE. EXHIBIT 1 The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the Citizen Participation Plan for Carlsbad's Community Development Block Grant Program specifies the formation of a seven member citizen advisory committee to make recommendations regarding CDBG funding allocations to the City Council; and WHEREAS, the Citizen Participation Plan further specifies that the City Council shall appoint seven members to the CDBG Funding Advisory Committee with the following representation: one Housing Commissioner, one Planning Commissioner, one Senior Commissioner, and four citizens-at-large (one from each quadrant); and WHEREAS, the Funding Advisory Committee appointees shall voluntarily serve two year terms of service. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. The above recitations are true and correct. 2. That the Mayor, with the approval of the City Council pursuant to CMC Section 2.06.070 appoints the following residents of Carlsbad to the CDBG Funding Advisory Committee as new, two year members with terms expiring in 2017: Northeast quadrant Julie Han Housing Commission Shaunee Williams II II 1 2 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting ofthe City Council ofthe City of Carlsbad on the gth day of February 2016, by the following vote to wit: 3 4 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 AYES: Council Members Wood, Schumacher, Blackburn, Packard.
