The Shoreline Preservation Working Group has 13 members, which are elected officials from Bayfront and coastal cities, the County of San Diego; and a representative from the Port of San Diego, and the U.S. Navy. The Working Group meets the first Thursday of the month in June, September and December. The first meeting of this year is scheduled to be a Special Meeting held on Thursday, March 14. Fiscal Analysis None. Next Steps The City Clerk will update the city's website and City Council meeting agenda template to reflect the new committee assignments. Environmental Evaluation (CEQA) Pursuant to Public Resources Code section 21065, this action does not constitute a "project" within the meaning of CEQA in that it has no potential to cause wither a direct physical change in the environment, or a reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment, and therefore does not require environmental review. Public Notification and Outreach This item was noticed in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act and was available for viewing at least 72 hours prior to the meeting date. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. The SWPG has 13 voting members, which are elected officials from bayfront and coastal cities, the County of San Diego, and a representative from the Port of San Diego, and the U.S. Navy.
