Receive presentation. No action needed.
Executive Summary/Discussion
The Carlsbad City Library recently contracted with RBdigital to provide streaming services and eComics.
RBdigital includes access to Acorn TV (primarily British and international television programs); video
courses taught by college professors, plus popular digital comics and graphic novels.
Next Steps
None.
Fiscal Analysis
The Library utilized funds from donations provided by the Friends of the Carlsbad Library to support this
service.
Public Notification
This item was noticed in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act (California Government Code Section
54950 et seq.), published and distributed at least 24 hours prior to the special meeting date and time.
