RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Receive a presentation from Poseidon Resources Vice President.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The Board has invited Poseidon Resources Vice President Peter MacLaggan to give an update
on the status of the desalination project. The project recently received final approval from the
Regional Water Quality Control Board as well as permits from the California Coastal
Commission and the State Lands Commission. These actions clear the way for the project to
move into the construction phase. Mr. MacLaggan will provide status updates on the project
and answer any questions the Board may have at this time.
