Dear Mr. Clemmens,
On behalf of the Parks and Recreation staff I would like to extend our
appreciation to you and your staff for working cooperately with us towards
creating an effective solution for Pacific Rims' Park dedication requirements.
As you no doubt are aware, the Parks and Recreation Commission approved
the park site property as identified on the conceptual park design map
dated October 17, 1988.
As discussed during the Commission presentation based on our discusssion
with your staff and as identified on the conceptual plan, the total park
acreage is 28.35 acres with a total developable area of 24.25 acres.
Although the entire area offered for dedication is not developable due
to environmental constraints, the Commission recommended approval of
the site because within that area to be dedicated, there is a developable
area of 24.25 acres which is the park requirement identified within the
Master Plan.
A modification of the park boundaries to increase the developable park
area from 17.75 acres to 24.25 acres has been appreciated and we look
forward to a continual cooperative working relationship with you.
Thank you once again.
Sincerely,
SENIOR MANAGEMENT ANALYST
