RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept and file.
ITEM EXPLANATION;
On December 6, 1988, the City Council directed staff to prepare
the necessary documents to establish a committee to specifically
identify recreational amenities outlined under Proposition M,
and to evaluate and recommend possible funding methods to
establish a Recreational Enhancement Program.
The attached Agenda Bill and Resolution, (Exhibit 1) approved
by Council January 3, 1989, identified the committee's dual
function. Also, attached (Exhibit 2) is a six (6) week work
plan and the members selected to accomplish this goal.
