ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Receive donation from Capital Bank and recommend acceptance by
the City Council.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Capital Bank has donated $1,200 to the City of Carlsbad in
support of the Parks and Recreation Department's Annual Easter
Egg Hunt for community youth. The funds will be used to
purchase supplies such as easter baskets and prizes.
This year the Easter Egg Hunts will be held at Stagecoach Park
in South Carlsbad and Calavera Hills Community Park for
residents in the northern part of town. Both events will begin
at 9:00 a.m., March 25, 1989. A letter of appreciation will be
sent on behalf of the City of Carlsbad.
FISCAL IMPACT:
One thousand two hundred dollars ($1,200) will be deposited into
account #880-519-92-10-000 (Recreation Special Events).
