RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Review, and discuss the current hours of use of lighted
recreational amenities at Carlsbad Park facilities.
ITEM EXPLANATION!
Staff will present an update of the current hours of operation
of lighted recreational amenities at park facilities as they
exist throughout the City. The following is presented for
Commission review:
1. STAGECOACH PARK
a. Hours of operation, 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.,
7 days per week.
b. Lighted amenities until 10:00 p.m.
7 days per week.
2. CALAVERA HILLS PARK
a. Hours of operation, 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.,
7 days per week.
b. Lighted amenities until 10:00 p.m.
7 days per week.
3. PINE SCHOOL FIELD
a. Hours of operation, non-school hours until 11:00 p.m.
7 days per week.
b. Lighted amenities until 11:00 p.m. 7 days per week.
4. CHASE FIELD
a. Hours of operation, 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
(10:30 flexible) 7 days per week.

*Ballfield scheduling is primarily on Monday - Friday.
w Saturday - Sunday scheduling is often at a minimum for City
</) sponsored recreation programs, however, provisions for use do

5. LA COSTA CANYON AND LACUNA RIVIERA TENNIS COURTS
a. City scheduled hours of operation
8:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. (winter)
8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. (summer),
7 days per week
6. CARLSBAD HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS COURTS
a. Available during non-school scheduled activities
8:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m., 7 days per week,
no tournament play after 6:00 p.m.
