ITEM EXPLANATION:
Pay N1 Play Racquetball of America has requested to address the
Parks and Recreation Commission regarding the possibility of
incorporating a Pay N1 Play racquetball facility at Calavera
Park or at one of our future park sites. During this past year
staff researched the possibility of including a racquetball
center at Stagecoach and Calavera Park. After a thorough
analysis, it was concluded that each of these park sites had
or would have over-crowded parking conditions and adding
another recreation amenity would only compound the problem.
Based on staff investigation, there does not appear to be an
adequate site for a racquetball facility. When a suitable
location is found our department will contact Pay N1 Play
Racquetball to explore future business opportunities.
