RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommend appropriate alternative regarding
invitations to Commission Christmas Dinner.
ITEM EXPLANATION
The Parks and Recreation Commission Dinner will be held on December 18,
1989, immediately following the Commission Meeting.
Information regarding the invitation of past Parks and Recreation
Commission Members to the dinner was requested of staff during the October
Commission meeting.
Although no policy has been firmly established with respect to this issue,
the following alternatives have been identified for Commission
consideration.
Invitations to the Parks and Recreation Commission Dinner should be
extended to all current Parks and Recreation Commission members and:
\ 1. All previous Parks and Recreation Commission members.
iA 2. Parks and Recreation Commission members having served within the
last two (2) years.
I 3. Parks and Recreation Commission members having served during any
part of the previous calendar year.
