Budget request submittal. ITEM EXPLANATION: The attached report outlines the Department's C.I.P. Budget request. In addition to revised cost estimates for previously submitted C.I.P. projects, this submittal includes projects approved by Council as part of the Northwest Quadrant Park Enhancement Report in August 1990. NEW Magnolia Field Acquisition and Development • Property north of Agua Hedionda Lagoon Acquisition and Development Maxton Brown Extension Improvements Maxton Brown Extension Expansion Holiday Park Irrigation Renovation Hosp Grove Development (5 acres) (For REVISED PROJECTS, see attached.) SPECIAL NOTES; In calculating the above cost estimates the following assumptions were utilized. Cost per acre for development = $135,000/acre Community Center/Gym 20,000 sqft @ $150/sqft Land Purchase (Alga Norte) $195,000/acre Tennis Courts (Alta Mira) 19 @ $50,000/ct Tennis Clubhouse (Alta Mira) 5,000 sqft @ $150/sqft 50 Meter Swim Complex (Alga Norte) $3,000,000 Alta Mira includes $1,000,000 for access and off site improvements If you have any questions, please call me at your convenience.
