TITLE: ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION
(ACTION)
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Receive donation of fifteen hundred dollars ($1500) from the Fieldstone Company and
recommend acceptance by this City Council.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The Fieldstone Company donated $1500 to conduct our Youth Baseball Clinic that took
place in early February at Calavera Hills Community Park. The camp provided detailed
baseball instruction to youngsters ages 8-15. Local area high school and youth league
coaches provided the instruction. The funds will offset the cost of t-shirts for the
participants and fees for coaching instructors. A letter of appreciation will be sent on
behalf of the Parks and Recreation Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds will be deposited into account #880-519-9210-0000 (Recreation Special Events).
