AB TITLE: ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Receive $1500 donation and recommend acceptance by the City Council.
ITEM EXPLANATION;
The Recreation Special Events division has received a $1500 donation in support of the
annual Halloween Carnival to be held October 25th from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the
Calavera Community Park gymnasium. The donation has been contributed by the Herrick
Community Fund which represents Capital Bank of Carlsbad, Raintree Grill, and Inns of
America. Funds will be used to offset the cost of candy and Halloween related supplies.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Fifteen-hundred dollars ($1500) will be deposited into the Recreation Special Events
account #880-519-92-18-0000.
