TITLE: GENERAL PLAN UPDATE/SURVEY QUESTIONS (INFO) RECOMMENDED ACTION: Accept and file. ITEM EXPLANATION: As a result of the initial meetings of the Recreation Survey Subcommittee appointed by the Parks and Recreation Commission, the attached questionnaire has been submitted to the Planning Department to be incorporated within the General Plan Update Survey. The General Plan Survey will done by telephone interview. All attempts will be made to include all five of the attached questions. However, as of this date, some of the attached questions may be precluded. The Commission will be updated regarding the results of the survey as the information becomes available. FISCAL IMPACT: None. EXHIBITS: 1. In addition, we feel this information would be valuable in any pending revision to the Parks and Recreation Element. Both the department staff and members of the Parks and Recreation Commission feel that the inclusion of all five of these questions within the General Plan Survey is necessary in order to help develop a much clearer picture of our Parks and Recreation program needs. Any assistance that you could provide to guarantee that these questions are included would be greatly appreciated. Please notify me if there is a possibility that all five questions will noHje\ included.
