SUBJ: Carrillo Ranch Master Plan Subcommittee (CRMP)
We understand your group is now participating in the CRMP's
discussions. Please be advised that the Friends of Carrillo Ranch
has available a 20-minute audio/visual survey of ten (10) typical
Southern California Historic Parks. The presentation includes a
review of the programs and facilities available to the public,
the site management structure and our candid, not-always-
complimentary critique of each operation.
Also available is a companion quick reference guide covering
the same locations in much greater detail. (The Banning House in
Wilmington has been added as a supplement.) Copies of this
material, including up-dates, have been provided to the Mayor and
the Parks & Recreation Director.
Upon request the Friends will be more than happy to assist
you in utilizing either the printed or audio/visual surveys and
to answer your questions relative to more specific details,
recommendations and methodology. There has not been nor will
there be any cost to the City of Carlsbad for the information
accumulated. However, because of the substantial investment by
the Friends, the contents are appropriately copyrighted and must
not be reproduced without explicit permission.
