CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS - Approved unanimously (6-0)
1. AB #192-1 DIRECTOR'S REPORT
2. AB #192-2 SUMMARY REPORT
3. AB #192-3 LETTER FROM FRIENDS OF CARRILLO RANCH
4. AB #192-4 ANNUAL C.P.R.S. DISTRICT XII AWARDS & INSTALLATION PROGRAM
PUBLIC HEARINGS: None.
DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS:
5. AB #192-5 CARLSBAD LIONS CLUB BEACH CLEAN-UP
The Commission unanimously (6-0) supported the Carlsbad Lions Club request to be
provided with trash bags for disposal of refuge in a tri-annual beach clean-up program put
on by the Lions Club with community volunteers.
6. AB #192-6 ANNUAL PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION WORKSHOP
It was unanimously recommended by the Commission to return with specifics relating to
an annual workshop at a later Commission meeting during which time a full forum and all
newly appointed Commission members would be in attendance.
7. AB #192-7 SISTER CITY ART WORK
The Commission received an informational update of the Ad Hoc Committee's
recommendations relative to possibilities for the Mayor's request to provide for the Sister
Cities art work project.
