RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Appoint Parks and Recreation Commissioner to assist with artist selection and artwork
design for Alta Mira Park.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The Arts Manager has requested a Parks and Recreation Commissioner be appointed
to a committee to assist with the selection of an artist and in the review of artwork
design for Alta Mira Park.

PUBLIC ART FOR ALTA MIRA PARK
The request for qualifications (RFQ) for an artist has been mailed and responses are due
March 15. A selection committee will review slides of artists work to select an artist to
work with the design team. Would you please have the Parks and Recreation
Commission delegate a member to serve on the selection committee. The Committee
will meet at the end of March.
