Summary Report, Parks and Recreation Commission meeting, March 1993 010 March 23, 1993 TO: MAYOR LEWIS MAYOR PROTEM STANTON CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS FROM: Parks and Recreation Director SUMMARY REPORT OF PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING 03/15/93 CONSENT CALENDAR: The following items were unanimously approved by the Commission (7-0) 1. AB #393-1 DIRECTOR'S REPORT - March 1993 2. AB #393-2 SUMMARY REPORT - The March Parks and Recreation Commission meeting. PUBLIC HEARINGS: NONE DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS: 3. AB #393-3 HISTORICAL SOCIETY REQUEST/MAGEE HOUSE - By an unanimous vote, the Commission approved joint use of two additional rooms at the Magee House by the Historical Society and also allowed exclusive use of one closet storage area. In addition, staff will find an appropriate location for the oak table and chairs currently located at the train depot. 4. AB #393-4 COASTAL ACCESSWAY TIMELOCK GATES/COASTAL COMMISSION RECONSIDERATION - The Commission received an informational update regarding the Coastal Commission's decision to uphold their previous denial for a development permit for timelock gates at three (3) coastal accessways.
