RECEIPT OF DONATIONS
(ACTION)
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Receive and acknowledge donations totaling $726.50 to benefit the Carrillo Ranch
Trust Account. Direct staff to forward a donation of $505.50 from Friends of Carrillo
Ranch for City Council acceptance.
ITEM EXPLANATION;
Receipts for donations to the Carrillo Ranch Trust Account since October 1992 totaled
$726.50. One donation from the Friends of Carrillo Ranch exceeds $500 and must
necessarily be accepted by the City Council in accordance with City ordinance No.
1295. All other donations which collectively total $221 will be forwarded to the City
Manager for acceptance by his office.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon concurrence by the City Manager's office and the City Council, the donations
totalling $726.50 will be deposited into account #880-519-9208-000. The balance in the
Carrillo Ranch Trust Fund as of April 27, 1993 totals $11,230 (Exhibit 1).

RE: DONATIONS TO CARRILLO RANCH TRUST FUND
This is to provide an update on the current status of the
Carrillo Ranch Trust Fund and to recomment acceptance by the
City Manager of donations totalling $726.50. These donations
were received from October 1992 through April 1993. The
balance in the Trust - Acct. #880-519-9208-0000 - as of
April 27, 1993 is $11,230.48.
Attached please find copies of checks and receipts for both
cash and checks deposited over that period.
The check for $505.50 from the Friends of Carrillo Ranch, along
with 4 other checks (Receipt #1780) totalling * 557.00, represents
souvenir sales and donations from the Carrillo Film Festival
held April 24th and 25th.
