RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff is recommending the Parks and Recreation Commission approve merchandise
donations received from various vendors and recommend acceptance by the.City Manager's
office and City Council for those items over $500 each.
ITEM EXPLANATION
The Recreation Division received merchandise donations from vendors to help augment the
15th Annual Body Surfing Contest which was held on August 14-15, 1993 (Exhibit 1). The
merchandise was awarded to participants who won their respective age divisions. Donation
valued at $500 or more will require further acceptance by the City Council.
