(ACTION)
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Receive donations totaling $1,500 in support of the Youth Basketball Program and
recommend acceptance by the City Manager.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The Parks and Recreation Department has received a total of $1,500 from eight (8)
individual donors. Funds will be utilized to provide sponsorship of youth
basketball teams for the upcoming season.
In accordance with City Council Ordinance No. 1295, the City Manager is
authorized to accept these individual donations.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$1,500 will be deposited into Account #880-519-9210-0001, Special Events/Youth
Sports Trust Account.
