-TJOINT COMMISSION WORKSHOP
The San Marcos Community Services Commission has asked me to
research the possible interest of our neighbor cities in holding a
Spring 1994 multi-commission workshop.
Two purposes were suggested. The individual commissioners would
gain perspective on the similarities of their roles. Commissioners
would also have an opportunity to discuss local projects in a
regional context and perhaps benefit from other cities practical or
philosophical lessons, learned over the years.
, ' • ' ' ' 'The initial concept is to make it a "working" social...a Saturday
morning workshop in a nice setting followed by a casual catered
lunch.•• . i •
I'll call each of you by -Christmas to determine the level of
interest in 1) holding such a gathering 2) style and topical
suggestions for the half-day event.
