WELCOME BACK MIKEI Seniors The Carlsbad Senior Center was host to a St. Patrick's Day Dance recently, and early returns deem the dance a resounding success as 132 seniors kicked up their heels to music performed by the "Golden Tones." Daniels Cablevision was on hand and taped the festivities. The class "Spanish on the Job" also took place during the month of March and attendance was impressive as instructor Julie Heard tutored the assembled. Additionally, the new exercise class, "Fun and Fitness in the Hawaiian Style" has proven quite popular. Some attendees don their moo-moos and Hawaiian shirts to learn this gentle and relaxing form of exercise. April signals the close once again of the very successful tax program. Trained Senior Volunteers assist participants with preparation of their tax forms. 17
