RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Receive donation of one hundred dollars ($100) from the Discover San Diego County
Pavillion/Del Mar Fairgrounds in recognition for the Community Services Department
booth at the Fair. Recommend acceptance by the City Manager.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Staff set up a booth at the Del Mar Fair on Saturday, July 1,1995 and distributed
information to fairgoers on the Department's activities. The booth's theme
incorporated an active, beachlike backdrop with numerous props to attract fairgoers
to the table.
A thank you letter on behalf of the Parks and Recreation Commission will be sent.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds will be deposited into account #880-519-9210-0000 (Recreation Special
Events.)
