SUMMARY REPORT OF THE FEBRUARY 5, 1996 PARKS AND RECREATION
COMMISSION MEETING
CONSENT CALENDAR:
The following item was unanimously (5-0) approved by the Commission.
1. SUMMARY REPORT - January 15, 1996 Parks and Recreation Commission
Meeting.
PUBLIC HEARINGS: None
DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS:
2. SPINNAKER HILL TOT LOT UPDATE
The Commission accepted the staff report on the Spinnaker Hill Neighborhood
Tot Lot development and directed staff to return to the Commission for an
annual review, once the tot lot has been completed.
3. BARRIO SPECIFIC PLAN
The Commission accepted the staff report on the Barrio Specific Plan and
provided comments on the policies and programs within the plan which related
to Parks and Recreation issues. Those comments will accompany continued
review of the Specific Plan at the Planning Commission and City Council level.
4. PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION/MEETING TIME
By unanimous vote (6-0), the Commission recommended that the meeting time
for the monthly Parks and Recreation Commission meetings begin at 5:30 p.m.
