TITLE: RECEIPT OF DONATION (INFO)
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Acknowledge receipt of Donation.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Joan Kindle, the volunteer curator of Carrillo Ranch Artifacts, has donated funds in the amount of
$527.00 in support of the Carrillo Ranch Trust account. Funds were collected as a result of the
sale of craftwork created by Mrs. Kindle and sold to members of the public with the intent that
proceeds would benefit the Carrillo Ranch.
The Donations have been accepted by the City Manager and funds have been deposited within
the Carrillo Ranch Trust account. A letter of appreciation will be sent on behalf of the
Commission and Community Services Department.

DONATIONS
The Community Services Department recently received the attached from Joan
Kindle regarding individual donations totaling $527 in support of the Carrillo
Ranch Trust Account. In accordance with Ordinance 1295, this information is
forwarded to your office for acceptance. This donation will also be presented to
the Parks and Recreation Commission for their information during the May
meeting.

This is to provide an update on the status of the Carrillo Ranch
Trust Fund and to recommend acceptance by the City Manager of
donations totalling $527.00. These donations were received from
Oct. 3, 1995 through April 4, 1996. The current balance in the
Trust account #880-519-9208-0000, including the above donations,
is $7729.56.
Attached please find copies of checks and receipts for both cash
and checks deposited over that period.
