RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Acknowledge receipt of donation totaling five hundred dollars ($500) from Kelly Land Company in
support of the 1998 Agua Hedionda Lagoon Cleanup and recommend acceptance by City
Council.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Staff recruits, coordinates and provides volunteers with refreshments, cleaning supplies and
services (dumpsters and porta potties) in support of this annual lagoon cleanup effort. Kelly Land
Company’s five hundred dollar ($500) donation will help offset these costs.
A thank you letter on behalf of the Recreation Department has been sent to Kelly Land
Company.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds will be deposited into account #I 49-5003-7899 (Recreation Special Events).
