RECOMMENDED ACTION :
Accept and file staff report.
ITEM EXPLANATION :
At a recent City/School Coordinating Committee meeting, staff from both agencies discussed the
potential sale and subsequent acquisition of the Pine School site by the City for use as a
Northwest Quadrant Community Park site. Staff will present some acquisition strategies which
were discussed with the school district during that meeting. Staff is continuing to meet with the
District to accomplish the acquisition process and the Commission will be updated as progress
continues.
