Our toddler classes visited Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center, and enjoyed the petting zoo and viewing the many scarecrows from the elementary schools in the area. October was also fire safety awareness month and our very own Carlsbad Fire Station #l provided fire safety education and demonstrations to all of our preschool classes. The four year old classes walked over and visited the firemen at the fire station, while the three year old classes got a visit at school from the firemen. October would not be complete without a very special costume parade and trick or treating with our moms and dads. In November we look forward to sharing ideas about family traditions and caring for our families and our world.
