The 1998 Fall Festival, held October 31'- at Stagecoach Park, was very successful. The
addition of a local business sponsor made the festival a true community event. In addition to the
Recreation Department sending out 14,000 flyers to the local schools, Coldwell Banker also
distributed flyers to new home buyers and local businesses around the Stagecoach area to
promote this event. Overall the festival attracted an estimated 1,500 families.
A letter of appreciation has been sent on behalf of the Recreation Department to Coldwell Banker
and their employees.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact to the general fund. The merchandise donations and volunteer hours offset the
cost of the event and contribute to its popularity.
