RECOMMENDED ACTION :
Review staff report regarding the Chase Field CUP and direct staff accordingly.
ITEM EXPLANATION :
The General Services Manager of the Public Works Division has requested to address the Parks
and Recreation Commission in reference to further processing of the Conditional Use Permit
related to the development of improvements at Chase Field. More specifically, the request is to
approve the installation of batting cages in addition to a number of improvement projects that
have previously been presented to the Commission through its annual review of the Capital
Improvement Program Budget. Doug Duncanson, the General Services Manager, will report on
the issue and be available to answer specific questions that the Commission may have.

The project has been approved by the P&R Commission,but the batting cages were not specifically
identified on any plans to them. I will take this to the Nov. meeting if necessary...........????? Doug>>>

more on chase field..if the project hasn't been to the P&R com already, will it be going to them at some
point? If it has, was the batting cages part of the project at that time? let me know at your earliest
