Receive individual donations of Two Hundred Forty Two ($242) in support of the Opportunity
Grants Scholarship Program and recommend acceptance by the City Council.
ITEM EXPLANATION :
The Carlsbad Recreation Department has been provided a cash donation totaling Two Hundred
Forty Two Dollars ($242). The following organization offered the donation in support of the listed
program:
Carlsbad Village Optimist Summer Sports Camps $242
The Recreation Department offers over forty different summer contract camps. The Department
worked with the Village Optimists who donated funds to offset the cost of the weekly barbeques
for four of the camps this past summer.
FISCAL IMPACT :
Funds in the amount of Two Hundred Forty Two ($242) have been deposited into the Recreation
Special Events Trust Account # 149-4503-5631.
