RECOMMENDED ACTION :
Accept staff report, question and comment as appropriate. -
ITEM EXPLANATION :
As an informational item for the Commission members, staff has requested the Finance Director,
Lisa Hildabrand, to address the board regarding the implementation process of the City’s CIP
Budget. Although the presentation will focus primarily on how the development of Park and
Recreation related projects can be impacted as a result of the implementation process, other
areas of discussion will center around the following issues: . Funding sources and funding availability for development of various projects
Priority for construction of CIP projects
Affects of adjusting project scheduling
Effects of economic environment
Ability to fund all projects at build-out
Alternative funding sources for development of CIP projects
Staff will be available to address specific questions that the Commission may have relative to
planned project developyent. In addition, the finance director can answer specific questions
related to the CIP process.
