PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION
RECOMMENDED ACTION :
Elect a Commission Representative to serve as Vice Chairperson.
ITEM EXPLANATION :
Commissioner Cox's term on the Parks and Recreation Commission expired last month. As you
are aware, he served as Chairperson to the Board. As a result of his departure from the
Commission, his duties will be assumed by the Vice Chairperson, who will assume the position of
Chairperson. Consequently, the Commission is being requested to select a new member to the
position of Vice Chairperson.
Nominations will be requested and a majority vote by the Board members will determine the new
member selected as Vice Chairperson of the Parks and Recreation Commission.
